Marta Bonsaglio

I am a PhD student in Statistics at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.
I am interested in the development of adaptive clinical trial designs and I am currently investigating the operating characteristics and the asymptotic properties of a broad class of randomized clinical trials designs (Bayesian Uncertainty directed trial Designs).
My research employs both theory of stochastic processes and stochastic approximation techniques.
I am also collaborating on a project aimed at comparing externally-controlled, single-arm and randomized clinical trials designs using a quantitative framework and data from prior clinical trials. The goal is to better understand the value of randomization in designing clinical trials.
